We have a very busy couple of weeks ahead of us at ISS with the PTA Meeting, Language Acquisition Meeting, 3 Way Conferences, Book Fair and the Grade 5 Market Day next week. The following week the school will be closed on Monday 9th November for staff training and on Tuesday 10th November for the Deepavali holiday.
3 Way Conferences
A reminder that as mentioned in last weeks blog this year's 3 Way Conference will take place on 4th November.
Parents will have the chance to discuss their child's learning with their child and both their child's class teacher and integrators (Mandarin, PE, Music, Art). Parents should sign up for an appointment time using the links below:

Sign ups will close at 2:30 pm on Tuesday November 3rd to enable staff to prepare for the day.
If you have any technical issue with the sign up please contact [email protected] for assistance.
To avoid disruption to the conferences in the Early Years classes, children waiting for their brother's or sister's conference should not play in the playground. They can go to the library and look around the book fair (see flier below) or come into class for their brother of sisters conference.
Please note that there will be no school on November 4th.
Soccer
ISS is aiming to enter teams in the upcoming Athletic Conference Singapore International Schools (ACSIS) Soccer League for both boys and girls in Grades 4 and 5.
The upcoming season will commence in late November and will run until our Christmas/New Year break and then recommence in January. At this stage there are no confirmed dates but matches will most likely be on a Tuesday or Thursday afternoon.
Each match week games start at 4.30pm and students will take part in practice from 2.30pm-3.30pm at ISS before leaving for the venues at around 3.40pm. (Students already taking part in ECAs will continue their normal ECA and then join the team prior to departure).
A bus to and from the venue will be provided. Students may be picked up by parents/guardians from the venues, or the bus will return to the school at approximately 6.10pm following the end of the matches.
As we have no confirmed match dates at this moment we are calling for an expression of interest from students in Grades 4 and 5 so that we can inform the league organisers of our desire to enter a team. If your child is interested in joining the soccer team for this upcoming season please :

We need to have the team entered no later than November 7 th so please fill in the form before this date if you child is interested.
ManageBac Data

These systems do not sync with each other, therefore, if you update your personal details on ManageBac please also inform the school secretaries so that they can update information on all the school's data bases.
